Such an interesting set of info highlighted today by the  Foreign & Commonwealth Office about the UK government’s wine cellar. It’s published because of a  Freedom of Information request a few weeks ago.

 Total cost value of stock £857 070

 Estimated market value of stock £2.953m

 Bottles used : 4 651

 Bottles of English wine used : 1692 (including reception wines) – 36% of total.
