Deposit for the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines in Liverpool
We know that the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines is a big commitment both in time and money:
Course Fee: £820 (in 2024-2025)
Time commitment: Six classroom days (including the exam) and at least 52 hours of private study
While One Foot in the Grapes can’t change the time commitment, we can offer flexibility with payments.
Payment options and next steps
You must have the Level 2 qualification to join this course run by One Foot in the Grapes.
To secure your spot on the course in Liverpool beginning July 21 2025, you can pay a £350 deposit at checkout.
There are options to split the deposit across three payments, subject to eligibility.
- The remaining balance of £470 will be due by May 13 2025, a few weeks before the course starts.
- On purchase of the deposit, I’ll send a voucher code to activate the reduced fee on my website to use when you’re ready.
- The remaining balance can also be split into three payments, subject to eligibility.
- If you’re a previous student of One Foot in the Grapes, there is a £25 discount on the final payment.
- The Level 3 study pack will be posted when final payment is received, so there’s plenty of time to start on the advance reading.
- Once study packs are posted, I will begin updates on study methods and guidance, tasting and revision tips.

Cancellation policy
- This course is a big commitment for us too; and so we have a tighter cancellation policy than elsewhere. If you cancel:
- Before May 13 2025: We offer a free transfer to another course or a refund of £250 from the £350 deposit. If you have the study pack, the refund would be £150 and you’d receive a full refund of the second payment.
- Between May 13 and June 30 2025: Free transfer to another course or a £100 refund from the deposit, plus a 70% refund of the second payment.
- From June 30 to the start date of July 21: Transfer to another course (£50 admin fee) or a £100 refund from the deposit, plus 30% refund of the second payment.
- If I have to cancel the course, or postpone it to a new date, I will offer full refunds if the alternative date is not suitable for you.
- If you pay the deposit, we will commit to reminding you about the final payment due by May 13. If you don’t respond, and the final payment is not made, the deposit and the course place will be lost.
