  • Study wines from internationally and regionally important grape varieties
  • You’ll taste wines the WSET way; seeking out aromas, characteristics and structure
  • The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines is recommended for entry to the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines
  • One Foot in the Grapes offers this course in three formats:
    – In a venue, three days, 9.15-5.30
    – Virtual via Zoom
    – Global Online classroom

In a venue in three days with Jane Clare

This  course can have different formats. Mainly, its over three days in a Liverpool venue.  — We do offer other formats and courses in Lancashire —  You’ll study eight modules covering 30 grape varieties — You’ll learn the impact of climate and winemaking on wine styles — You’ll taste at least 40 wines including sparkling and fortified using the process developed by the WSET, the Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine®  —  The multiple-choice paper exam is on the final day.

Virtual via Zoom, eight sessions, one a week

Study this course from the comfort of your own home, from anywhere in the UK. Join this virtual course in real time via Zoom led by Jane Clare of One Foot in the Grapes. You’ll learn how to apply the theory to a wine glass, as you taste wine using the process developed by the WSET, the Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine®   You’ll buy your wine The course is a  2.5 hour session once a week over eight weeks.  Each weekly topic is the same as a classroom course. — Online exam.

Learn in the Global hub over five weeks
