WSET Courses - The WSET

One Foot In The Grapes is an Approved Programme Provider for the Wine & Spirits Education Trust. That means we are teaching WSET courses Level 1 & 2 Awards in Wine in Merseyside and, via online options, further afield.

What are WSET courses? The Wine & Spirit Education Trust, often referred to as WSET, is a worldwide organisation which arranges courses and exams in wine and spirits.

It is the same journey that Jane Clare of One Foot in the Grapes began when she first became hooked on wine.

The WSET is regarded as the leading provider of wine education in the world and One Foot in the Grapes is thrilled to be an Approved Programme Provider to take you on the same journey of discovery.

What happens at the end of each Level 1 and Level 2 wine course? There will be a multi-choice examination and if you’re successful you’ll receive a WSET certificate and a lapel pin.

If you’re a wine enthusiast who wants to learn more about wine, or you’re in the hospitality industry and keen to guide your customers, then simply get in touch with One Foot in the Grapes to take those first steps to growing your knowledge.

In the midst of Covid-19 we will only be running the courses online (scroll below for details). When restrictions are lifted, we’ll also have dates at Ropes & Twines on Bold Street in Liverpool.
